Join us for a special before-hours experience at Shelburne Museum that blends art, mindfulness, and movement. Begin with a guided tour and art-based meditation on the iconic Steamboat Ticonderoga , designed to spark reflection and presence. Then, take an all-level yoga class on the decks of the Ti led by instructor Lynn Alpeter, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Museum grounds. $10 for members, $15 for general public. Francie and John Downing Senior Curator of American Art Kory Rogers unveils artist Mara Superior’s Shelburne Museum Collection Plaque celebrating her favorite treasures from the Museum’s collection. This lecture explores the creation of the bespoke work, Superior’s curatorial selections, and how the platter pays tribute to founder Electra Havemeyer Webb’s vision.
