The Downtown Night Market is a monthly outdoor gathering of a diverse array of independent vendors hailing from NY State, many of whom are local to Kingston. The Night Market inspires the community to walk our district, support local vendors, and engage with the historic heritage of the area. Urban Renewal of the mid 20th century destroyed many of the storefronts which at one point in history housed independent businesses integral to the neighborhood’s character: ateliers, haberdasheries, tavern
