Wind your way to a beautiful coiled basket at this workshop! You’ll learn the skills of this ancient craft developed around the world utilizing natural and found materials. Bring your own materials such as twine, scrap yarn, rush or plant fiber; cordage made from plastic or paper bags. You’ll also need a tapestry needle, sharp scissors, and a willingness to experiment as you build a container for your creative imaginings. Basic materials will be available at the meeting.

BRFG will have a booth in Boonerang again this year. Set-up is 9:30-10:30, and the event starts at 11. Take down starts at 5:30. Our booth location is right next to Jones House, where we use the picnic table and gazebo for demonstrating weaving and other fiber arts. Members, your participation is needed, especially from 1:00 to 5:00! We have a tent, a folding 2’ x 4’ table, a table loom and a rigid heddle loom warped and ready for guild members to demo.
