The first concert of the series is held on July 6, 2026 and runs through August 3, 2026. The concerts are located at 173 Lakeside Dr. Blowing Rock, NC 28605 and are set up in the gazebo at Broyhill Park. They begin at 6:30 pm, run approximately one to two hours, and are free and open to the public. Performances will cover a little bit of everything from jazz, to country, to show tunes. Attendees will want to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating comfort. 2026 Concert Line Up!
Blowing Rock Thursday Market is going to be replacing the Farmers’ Market! Every Thursday starting May 14 through September 24 from 12-4 PM. It will be located on the lawn of the Chamber of Commerce at 132 Park Ave. Come get your flower fix and pick up some handmade pasta. Website

This cocktail with the curator will feature two exhibitions: Barbara Grennell: Mountain Tapestries and Take-Up: Intergeneration Textiles & Weaving Community in Watauga County. Learn about Blowing Rock’s natural history and a bit of botany, as you create a life-size paper model of North Carolina’s state official state wildflower, the Carolina Lily ( Lilium michauxii ). All materials and tools will be provided, and at the end of this three-hour workshop, guests will take home their creation in a vase, ready for display. Website

“Music on the Lawn” at The Inn at Ragged Gardens has become a much beloved outdoor concert series. Held each Friday from May through September (weather permitting), the event draws locals and visitors alike. It has grown in popularity over the years and attendance in the hundreds can be expected.
