Children are invited to create their very own prehistoric magnets at the library! Using clear glass stones, construction paper, cardstock, and paint, participants will design either a fierce dinosaur eye or a fossil trapped in amber, inspired by the preserved mosquito in the film Jurassic Park . Adults are welcome to join us for relaxed, self-led cribbage games in our charming, historic second-floor space. Whether you’re a seasoned player or are new to this Midwestern staple, all are welcome! There will be playing cards and one cribbage board provided, but groups are encouraged to bring their own board. Children are invited to craft their own fossil necklace! Participants will shape air-dry clay into an oval, then use stencils to create a fossil design. Stencils include shells, plants, and more!
