Introduction to Woodworking is a 5-week hands-on course for adults who are new to woodworking or returning after a long break. Schedule: 5 Thursday evenings — 8/13, 8/20, 8/27, 9/3, 9/10 — 5:30–8:00 pm Over five evenings you’ll cover shop safety, tool identification, measuring and marking, hand tool use, and basic joinery — and leave with a finished project you built yourself. This course satisfies The Joinery’s hands-on safety requirement for new members. No

Make a Tool Tote is a one-day hands-on class. In a single session you’ll build a classic carpenter’s tool tote to take home, learning layout, cutting, and assembly along the way. Saturday, August 15 — 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. All tools and materials provided. No prior experience required; wear closed-toe shoes.
