Low Sounds by the Shore For summer 2027, Counterpoint celebrates the moods, sounds, and denizens of our lakes. The concert includes works by Schumann, Delius, Mendelssohn, Stanford, and Barber, arrangements of beloved folksongs, and settings of poems by Carl Sandburg, Jay Parini, and of course William Butler Yeats’s famous lyric The Lake Isle of Innisfree.
