The Foundation will have materials and information about the Foundation and National Army Museum as well as recording equipment if you’d like to share your Army story or record a message of thanks or appreciation for a Soldier or Veteran

The Army Historical Foundation is proud to host Free Veteran Watercolor Art Workshops with the Patriot Art Foundation at the National Museum of the United States Army on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 and Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Come discover, or further develop, your creative skills and enjoy socializing with other local Veterans. After class with a professional art teacher, you can enjoy lunch in the Museum’s cafe followed by exploring the Museum

During this historic year, the Army Historical Foundation will host a second historic miniature and board gaming event commemorating battles of the American Revolution. Join in on the classic Army v. Navy rivalry by registering for The Army Historical Foundation’s Army v. Navy 5K Road Race on Saturday December 12, 2026. The event begins and ends at the National Museum of the United States Army and will utilize the multi-purpose path along the Fairfax County Parkway and participants can sign up to represent either Army (green shirts) or Navy (blue shirts).
