Thank you to everyone who made the Member Preview Event & Patron Party for our dual exhibits, "Unexpected Openings" by Carol Koutnik and "Threads of Nature" by Irmgard Geul, such a remarkable evening at the Nave. To say our member preview event for the current exhibit, "Images of South Texas" by artist Linda LaMantia was a success is an understatement! The turnout was awesome, the art wonderful, and a fantastic time was had by all in attendance! The Nave’s first attempt at a smaller, more intimate fundraiser gathering was by all accounts a great success! A total of 25 attendees were present to enjoy guest wine expert Brendan Owens’ informative and entertaining education on five “Bold Reds from Around the World” and accompanying heavy hors d’oeuvres while placing silent auction bids for five donated artwork pieces. Our Halloween-themed fall fundraiser for 2025 was an intimate event of new experiences for fun wine pairings! This cozy evening event featured unique wine, cheese, and candy pairing stations throughout the museum. Butterfingers, champagne, cheddar, and more! Guests also received a complimentary smoky espresso martini with dry ice!
