Join us the first Thursday of each month, at 10am at Irving Arts Center for stories and art! Explore new stories and fun art projects during this creative story time that combines art and children’s literature. Create a take-home art project and then browse the galleries with your kids as part of this fun AND FREE morning activity. Ages 2 and up. All supplies provided. Open Studio for Teens (Free) Open Studio for Teens is a free artmaking program held on the second Sunday of each month. Together with artists and educators, teens can explore new materials and innovative techniques through hands-on projects that draw inspiration from themes and artists featured in the Arts Center’s collection and exhibitions. Find inspiration in the gallery exhibitions, holidays and the seasons as families make art, friends and fun! NEW! During Second Sunday Fundays, take advantage of a docent-led guided tour of the galleries taking place at 2PM on the Second Sunday of the month and for teens, an Open Studio is offered from 1PM to 4PM. And the best part? It’s FREE! 2

FREE guided tours are offered the Second Sunday of every month at 2PM when we open the galleries up for Second Sunday Funday family arts and craft activities. No reservation required. Self-guided tours may be taken at any time. The galleries are open from noon to 5PM Tuesday through Saturday. *Note – in February, the Second Sunday Guided Tour will be offered on the first Sunday of the month.
