We are so excited to host our Knoxville Alumni & Friends Night with the Knoxville Smokies at Covenant Health Park! We will gather at Bush’s Beans Picnic Pavilion, located down the left field line on the concourse level. Registration includes a game ticket with excellent views and a delicious BBQ buffet, making this a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow Carson-Newman University alumni, meet new friends, and enjoy an exciting evening of baseball with family and friends. Join us for Carson-Newman’s online Early Registration event! This event is designed for students who are not able to attend ER in-person, due to living out-of-state or because of schedule conflicts. We want to make sure that you receive all of the information to help you get a jump start on officially becoming a student in the fall!
A two-part gathering time for all C-N employees (faculty & staff) to start the school year. The first half is a worship service and the second half is filled with service awards, introductions of the new employees, and other business.
Fall Faculty Workshop in Gentry Auditorium (Henderson) I 8:30-11:30 am. Light grab-and-go breakfast available on the front sidewalk, or in the lobby if raining I 8:30-9:00.
Welcome HOME Eagles! Our Admissions Staff and Orientation Leaders will be welcoming our new Eagles to campus! When students and parents arrive on campus, they will be directed to Butler Lawn to check in, get their name tag, information, and more. From there, they will be directed to their respective Residence Halls. Orientation Leaders and Residence Life staff will be stationed at the Residence Halls to unload their cars and give students their room key. Students are then free to begin settin
After a full morning of moving in, we want to offer our new Eagles and their families a time to rest and refuel. We will be hosting a casual lunch featuring local Food Trucks at our Rec Park next to West Campus Commons. Our Orientation leaders and campus faculty and staff will be encouraged to meet, mingle, and visit with our new students at the West Campus Commons Social.
All incoming military affiliated students and their families, please join us at our Open House. This is a time for these students and families to stop in for light refreshments, meet the Director of Military Services, Mrs. Pat Bivens, and have any last minute questions about their benefits answered.
All Commuter Students, please head to Butler Lawn where you will check in with Admissions, Student Accounts, & the New Student Orientation Staff. The Orientation Staff will then escort you to the Commuter Social. This social will include a time of fellowship with fellow students, refreshments, giveaways, & a tour of key commuter spaces on campus.
All incoming Eagle parents & family members who will be helping your Eagle get settled into their new home and checked in to campus, you are invited to a Family Session. The Eagle Parent & Family Session will feature key information about your students’ transition to college presented by C-N faculty and staff members, important dates to mark your calendars to return to campus, & fun activities to celebrate becoming part of the Eagle Family.
