Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act on Broadway. When they are invited to perform at a resort in Vermont, they bring along their old friend, the writer Maxwell Anderson. The resort is owned by the wealthy Mrs. Constance Hatchaway, who is looking for a husband. Bob and Phil are determined to help her find one, but they are not prepared for the arrival of the charming ski instructor, George Baxter.
