Saloon 151 has made whiskey a social experience in West Chester. I have friends who’ve never tried anything outside of Crown Royal and Maker’s Mark who’re sitting beside me sharing thoughts on flights filled with Booker’s, Whistle Pig and Oblivion. According to American and international trade agreements, Tennessee whiskey is ‘a straight Bourbon Whiskey authorized to be produced only in the State of Tennessee’. The funny thing is that distillers in the region always try to separate themselves from the notion of ‘bourbon’, which is why producers never label their liquor as one. Tennessee whi
