From June through August, join Meadowcroft every Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. to help care for the site’s historic garden plots. Spend an hour tending the gardens alongside Meadowcroft staff and enjoy free admission to the museum for the day or receive a pass to return for another visit during the 2026 season. Space is limited to nine volunteers per session, and advance registration is required.

Experience the sights and sounds of 18th-century artillery right in Point State Park! Outdoor demonstrations are free to watch. Regular admission applies to enter the museum. Explore the Heinz History Center’s newest exhibition, My America: An Illustrated Experience , alongside contributing artist Audra Azoury of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators. Through a guided exploration of her artwork featured in the exhibition, Azoury will share the creative techniques, research methods, and primary sources that inspired her pieces. Educators will also learn how to access and analyze materials from the History Center’s collections
