The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, in collaboration with I.D.E.A. Troy, will host a Juneteenth Opening Celebration in anticipation of the community festival at McKaig & Race Park the following day. Guests will enjoy a children’s art exhibit, light hors d’oeuvres, and an unforgettable concert by the Deron Bell Band, presenting The History of Funk Music in Ohio Bell serves as Music Director for the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company and has performed with artists including James Brown, Bootsy Collins
