Soyuzivka Heritage Center

Directed by Ania Bohachevsky-Lonkevych (daughter of Roma Pryma Bohachevsky), this camp is for ages 8 -16, and offers expert instruction for beginning, intermediate and advanced students. Room, board, 24-hour supervision, expert lessons and loads of fun are included. Each camp ends with a grand recital. Attendance will be limited to 60 students.

Steeped in a tradition that goes back to the first event held in 1956, the pageant is known colloquially as “Miss Suzy Q” followed by a Zabava with the Hrim band.

Labor Day weekend is the last event of the summer, boasting live bands and plenty of fun. A few hundred Ukrainians from New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York socialized at the tiki bar to live acoustic music.
