A presentation and panel discussion by architect and scholar Lori Brown on designing spaces for reproduction, including topics on birthing in Alabama, contested spaces (abortion clinics, women's shelters, hospitals), and feminist approaches to architecture. Free event with RSVP required. Donations appreciated.
An open-ended community event to help co-create the artwork 'Collective Mending' by weaving grasses into a pathway. Participants can bring personal mending projects, artwork, or crafts to work on amongst community, enter a raffle, and share snacks and refreshments. Drop in anytime, for as long or as short as you like.
