The Apple Hill String Quartet will coach community chamber ensembles in conjunction with their performance. Enrollment is open to small chamber ensembles (2-6 members) and includes three 45-minute coaching sessions with AHSQ members, rehearsal time, lunch, and a concert ticket. Join Upper Valley Music Center Children’s Chorus Director Allison Pollard for a musical celebration of all things spooky! We’ll sing fun and spooky songs about ghosts, goblins, witches, and haunted houses to kick off the Halloween weekend. La Dernière Feuille: An Evening of French Melody Upper Valley Music Center presents a concert featuring mezzo-soprano Alicia Hodges and soprano Sydney Johnstone, joined by Alex Stewart on piano. Balfolk is a form of social folk dancing popular in northern and western Europe, gaining popularity in the US. This event brings together masters of the musical and dance tradition from New England and Canada. Upper Valley choruses come together for a performance with special guests Sol y Canto. Our resident choral ensembles, the UVMC Children’s Chorus and Community Chorus at UVMC, are joined by Lebanon-based Harmony Night. The Upper Valley Music Center Children’s chorus will share their hard work from the fall semester in an informal concert for family and friends. Director Allison Pollard and pianist Carol Cronce lead this ensemble that brings together children from around the Upper Valley. The concert will last approximately 30 minutes and will be followed by a pizza party for participants and families.

Singers and Messiah lovers are invited to join us for the annual production of Handel’s Messiah. Solos will be performed by UVMC voice students, with an orchestra featuring UVMC faculty and community musicians.
