On August 4th, we will be featuring the work of these 47 artists who have sent along a teapot with their 6 Yunomi. Hitomi & Takuro Shibata are ceramic artists originally from Japan, and currently living in Seagrove, North Carolina, home to the biggest pottery community in the United States. Together they manage their pottery business, "Studio Touya". Hitomi and Takuro are the jurors for the 2022 Teabowl National. A nationally recognized exhibit that brings pottery to the people. This year the Pottery Invitational will be an online event. Not to worry however, the event may be virtual but the pottery is very real! The Invitational is curated by potter Lindsay Oesterritter, who represents new and exciting ideas in production pottery. This event provides an opportunity for everyone from pottery aficionados to the casually interested to be exposed to American ceramic artists and their work on our Gallery Sto
