Baseball materials from the Bertrand-Lundin Honoring Women in Sport collection will bring to life women who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League and in the Negro Leagues. Interactive activities abound and a sneak peek of the materials are available on the BSU Virtual Catalog.

Dr. Barry Houlihan, Archivist of the University of Galway, will present on the role archives play in preserving and protecting historical memory by giving voice to the voiceless and to those censored by authoritative power. Dr. Houlihan’s vast experience documenting and preserving Ireland’s turbulent 20th century will be featured as he visits us from Ireland for our bi-annual Irish Cultural Heritage Day.
