Please Join us for our 2026 Farmers Market Season at the Georgia's Rome Gift Shop and Welcome Center. The Farmers Market will take place June through July Friday's 8:30am-11:30am. There will not be a market on Friday, July 3rd! Jump aboard the Roman Chariots as we drive you around on this guided tour; each monthly tour will highlight the history of a different block in Historic Downtown Rome. Included in the tour, is a history tour inside one of the historic buildings on the block. The tour is presented by the Rome Area History Center and is led by historian Selena Tilly.
Rome City Clocktower Tours Climb 107 steps to the very top of the historic Rome City Clocktower for the best view of our beautiful city! Inside the tower, explore murals that tell the story of Rome—from its founding to the present day—and see the original clockworks at the base. Important Details: Capacity: Limited to 20 people at the top at a time. Tickets: $10 per person, required in advance.
