Throughout the year, GOCHC collects donations of gently used furniture, accessories, lamps, dishes, china, crystal, kitchen utensils, artwork, small appliances, linens, jewelry, antiques, books, pet supplies, toys, and more… Once per month The Depot is open for fundraising sales. Only persons 18+ are allowed in The Depot building.
Walk the grounds of what was once the largest mental institution in the world. The history filled walking tour will start and finish at the Central State Hospital Museum. Participants will stroll through the grounds, hearing the chilling history of the hospital and mental health treatment from years past. This tour seeks to educate and advocate for those with the most haunting of illnesses, those that effect the mind.
