Main Street Players closes its season with John Buchan’s The 39 Steps. If you don’t know the play it is a wild laugh-a-minute adaptation of the classic Alfred Hitchcock film noir mystery of the same name. Every thrilling and suspenseful moment you associate with Hitchcock is represented in this fast paced farce. Four actors bring all the characters from the movie to life. Sometimes two or three at a time. The 39 Steps will run Wednesday, June 17 through Sunday, June 28, 2026. Wednesday

The City of Griffin and Spalding County are excited to continue the tradition of hosting the annual Independence Day Parade in Downtown Griffin. The parade will be held on Saturday, July 4th at 10:00AM Local businesses and individuals are encouraged to sign up to participate in the parade- walkers, golf carts, vehicles, and floats are allowed. To participate in the parade, all golf carts, vehicles, and floats must be patriotically decorated and display a banner for the business
