Presenting diverse works celebrating the creative research of faculty whose scholarship and teaching are founded in their studio art making practice. Reception: September 3, 5 – 7 pm

Artworks are by students who won the 2026 juried student exhibition. A small portfolio of works will be displayed by each student expressing their ongoing research and exploration of art production. Artists include Sharon Finzel, Sam Koger, Emma Petras and Adam Reid. Opening Reception: September 3, 5pm – 7pm

Families explore, experiment and create freely using a variety of materials like paper, drawing supplies and craft materials. Participants focus on curiosity and playful discovery rather than a finished product. Inspired by the UWG faculty exhibition, Studio Practice. Ages: All – Families welcome, guardians should work with young artists

Using a variety of provided art materials, participants will investigate techniques, test new approaches and follow their creative interests. The focus is on process, discovery and personal exploration. All materials are provided. Ages: 18 and up Free

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Abraham Baldwin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will celebrate with our community by engaging this military band conducted by Terry Lowry. After the concert, please join us for a small reception in the front lobby of the arts center. Season ticket holders will get a free ticket with their ticket package. Free (Patrons must get a ticket from the box office)

An overview of stained glass design, shaping, assembly and finishing. Students will construct a geometric window, 10.5 x 10.5 inches. Historic assembly techniques are presented and the Tiffany Studio’s assembly process of custom-building metals will be implemented. All materials are supplied. Students should bring a pair of safety glasses. Instructor: John Eachus Ages: 12 and up Fees: Member: $125

Artist Tahnee Conner creates “monster plants” from discarded materials – cemetery flowers, abandoned containers and fragments destined for the landfill – assembling them with an almost playful process rooted in improvisation. These pieces exist in a space between the natural and the artificial, the grotesque and the whimsical. Closing Reception: October 22, 5pm – 7pm

This popular play, adapted from Agatha Christie’s famous novel, features Detective Hercule Poirot solving a murder on a snowbound luxury train where numerous passengers are suspects, offering suspense, humor and a classic whodunit. Season ticket holders attend September 18 $15 Adults / $10 Youth (12 and under)
