The Carol Jenkins Barnett United Way Children’s Resource Center (formerly Family Fundamentals) offers weekly classes for children from infants through age 5 where parents and children will learn and socialize as they participate in fun, stimulating, developmental activities. These classes are FREE and a great opportunity to meet other moms and caregivers. Join Erma and Reading Therapy Dog friends for a weekly children’s story hour at 4pm on Saturdays at Barnes and Noble on South Florida Ave. Erma and several of her doggie friends will be there (learn more - Read with Erma). We have multiple dogs and blankets on the floor for kids to sit next to their favorite dog. There are usually more than one. We will read stories for as long as the kids are interested. Plus we have cute coloring pages too!
