Did you know that Anniston Museums and Gardens is home to a variety of live reptiles, mammals, and birds? Make plans to join us in the exhibit halls on the 2nd Saturday of each month between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to meet and learn about one of our animal ambassadors. You never know who will be featured! This program is included with museum admission and free for AM&G members.
During a tour of Farley and Germaine Berman's home and artifact collection, you got a little too curious... You snuck into Mr. Berman's office, set off a booby trap, and the door locked behind you! Luckily, the Bermans hid a spare key somewhere in the room. Unluckily, they were world-class spies! Embark on a thrilling adventure, solve puzzles, crack ciphers, and uncover surprises to find the key and make your daring escape before you're discovered and labeled a thief! Each session is $60.00 p

Discover the beauty of Brugmansia, also known as Angel Trumpets! Join Phyllis Porter to learn about the beauty, care, and cultivation of these stunning tropical plants. Plants will be available for purchase after the program. This program is $5/person and free for AM&G members. Register

Step into the world of Minecraft and discover how resources, tools, and materials you craft in the game connect to real-world history through authentic artifacts and interactive learning at the Berman Museum. This program is included with museum admission and free for AM&G members.

Nature in Conversation explores the natural world through engaging discussion inspired by the featured book and items from the Anniston Museum of Natural History’s collection. Join us on the first Friday of each month for thought-provoking conversations about conservation, ecology, and the connections between nature and our world today. No required reading. Guests are welcome to bring a lunch to enjoy during the program. Pre-registration is encouraged. Featured books*: September

Third Thursday is Plant Sale day! Support the growth of the Longleaf Botanical Gardens and your gardening green thumb by purchasing plants! We have a variety of trees, shrubs, natives, tropicals, and more! Plant Sales are at the LBG Greenhouses from 10:00am – 5:00pm. Directions: Drive up Museum Drive. Pass the Anniston Museum of Natural History and Berman Museum. Turn left at the Monarch Butterfly! **There are no Third Thursday Plant Sales in April or December.

Step into the role of a wildlife tracker in this interactive workshop focused on animal tracks and signs. Learn how to recognize footprints, trails, markings, and other evidence animals leave behind and make your own animal track to take home with the help of some of your favorite AMNH ambassadors. Admission is $10 per person. All proceeds support the care and enrichment of our animal ambassadors. Register
