Rage Against the Machine is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1991. The band consists of vocalist Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk. They are known for their politically charged lyrics, aggressive musical style, and influential presence in the alternative rock and rap rock genres.
