The Palos Verdes Symphonic Band is a community band based in Palos Verdes, California. It consists of approximately 60 amateur musicians, including school music teachers, engineers, physicians, students, homemakers, as well as current and former professional and amateur musicians. The band performs at various events, including concerts, festivals, and holiday celebrations. The band is directed by David Stanton and has a long history, dating back to its founding in 1972.
