The Mississippi Gulf Coast Symphony began in 1962 with a few dozen musicians who wanted to play classical music together. Since then, it’s grown to 72 musicians strong. Led by Peter Rubardt, Music Director, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Symphony performs a variety of programs, including its popular Intimate Masterworks series, which features chamber-scale orchestral music in a more intimate setting.
