Guitarist Dan Wilson's musical path began in the church community of Akron, Ohio, where gospel first shaped his sound and purpose. Channeling the lineage of Wes Montgomery and George Benson while absorbing blues, hip-hop, and the phrasing of great horn players, Wilson has developed what many describe as a deeply lyrical and personal voice.
