Chris Smither (born November 11, 1944) is an American folk/blues singer, guitarist, and songwriter. His music draws deeply from the blues, American folk music, and modern poets and philosophers. He has been performing for over five decades and has released numerous albums. He has also performed on the radio show Mountain Stage and has been featured in publications such as The New York Times and The Guitar Journal.
